This reminds me of the first time I visited Utrecht. I arrived late on a beautiful summer evening but I managed to get a table at the restaurant behind the tree on the left. It was magical. I'm not exaggerating.
I can imagine that! Along this canal is a great place to be and have dinner, in summer.
