It was a cold winter day, but I think the cold was not the main reason this statue was dressed in warm clothes. Maybe carnival had something to do with it - the photo is from last Saturday, on the eve of carnival.
I took this photo in Haarlem, near the Spaarne river, against a backdrop of two stepped gables across the river.
