Chestnut

There's a lot more autumn beauty than just colored leaves. Chestnuts, for example. As a kid, I used to go to the forest in autumn, and return with a bag full of chestnuts. Hundreds of them, sometimes. The one on the photo is a sweet chestnut.

On the way back on our recent trip to Samar, we stopped for a few minutes to take a couple of photos of this river. Both banks are full of palm trees - not sure if these are coconut plantations.
